Industrial Design

The course focuses on designing an innovative product using industrial designs including methodology, aesthetic, and design thinking and making. During the beginning of the course, we determine our class semester creative and innovate project for our newly built product using our own personal knowledge and skills. The project we all choose is an innovated aircraft drone remoted by a mobile phone made by cheap parts with small quantities found from online websites and our facilities. However, due to the lack of time and major errors during the semester, we were unable to complete the project in time. Yet, we gain qualities of experience and solutions for making an innovative product of a wireless control aircraft drone using high-level Bluetooth coding and AC motors consist of creative blades attached to them. During working on this product, I learn the value of creating an innovative product is first by researching the product including previous data and historical knowledge to it that could help indicate the problem when creating the product which could lead into new solutions to it. As a mechanical engineer, this experience helps me find steps in creating a newly built product that could impact communities including cars, transportation, and safety services.
