I am pursuing a major in nursing with a minor in sociology and biology. Growing up, my favorite school subjects were always science and math because I have always found them interesting, and they came easy to me. I chose to go into nursing because the sciences behind all the health procedures piqued my interest and seemed like something I would enjoy, while also helping and caring for people. Another reason I chose nursing was because I’ve always known I want a future job that would be active and different every day. As of right now, I have no experience in this field, but I do plan on getting an internship or job shadowing to gain experience and make sure I like what I plan on doing.
