Introduction To Criminology

This course was a basic introduction to criminology. This helped me to view criminology as a science. This course including the study of crime, criminals, and society’s response to them.

One of the assignments that stood out to me was the first paper I had to work on. I wanted to look at cybercrimes occurring during covid-19. I talked about examples of cybercrimes in society. I went on to talk about issues of cybercrimes in the past. After that, I looked at common themes from the collection of literature. I looked at the collection of literature and checked to see if it involved a particular criminology theory. The last thing I talked about is the incentives or policies to address the issues.
