The second TalkAbroad conversation was better than the first for technical reasons. The second one was more along the lines like the course wanted. Geneviève was a nice girl to talk with. She was very understanding of what I wanted to say. She even filled in words and helped me if I got stuck, and I appreciate her for that. However, the conversation took a depressing turn when we got to the part when we talk about what problems arise from the American diet. The conversation went from how we eat too much fast food to depression and even suicide. We both didn’t like how Americans and Canadians handle depression, which the number one option for most would be suicide. Other than that, the second conversation touched up on more topics that the course wanted than the first one did.
