My name is Roland A. Davis, and I am currently a junior at Old Dominion University, majoring in history. I am the League of Historical Studies treasurer and a singer for the Ebony Impact Gospel Choir. I am also employed by the university at the ODU Music Library for two years.
Over the course of three years, I have gained experience in digital citations, online record-keeping, database management, and online research. During the summer of 2024, I participated in Old Dominion University’s HIST 368 program and worked with ODU Perry Library Archives Digital Collections on their extensive digital archives.
As the history field continues to embrace digital technology, my skills can help any organization move towards a modern digital research format. As stated before, my digital management and research skills can increase tenfold in quality of work, compared to work on paper. I can assure you that my skills are indomitable in this new age of historical research.
