When checking which statements I believe to be aggressive, I choose numbers 2, 5, 6, 7, 9, 13, 17, and 23. Most of these are actual physical abuse. It’s not really for a purpose as if defending yourself. It’s an aggressive behavior to others. But the one that was the was most particular to aggression was number 7, which is “A man viciously kicks a cat”. I myself own a pet; a dog. And knowing that people out there who harm animals for no reason are very aggressive. It’s also mental because they had a moment to think about kicking an animal viciously.
When people harm nonliving things like 9) A girl kicks a wastebasket and 23) A tennis player smashes his ratchet after missing a volley, I think it’s not really aggressive, but still in that realm. I feel that they were just upset and used whatever they had closest to them and set off the stem.
8) A man, while cleaning a window, knocks over a flowerpot, which, in falling, injures a pedestrian and 11) A man mentally rehearses a murder he is about to commit. These two are very different from each other. 8, which was an accident that had happened. He was just doing his job, then something bad had happened. However, 11 comes off aggressive because he’s planning on murdering someone but actually hasn’t physically done it yet.
10) Mr. X, a notorious gossip, speaks disparagingly of many people of his acquaintance. 13) An enraged boy tries with all his might too inflict injury on his antagonist, a bigger boy, but is not successful in doing so. His efforts simply amuse the bigger boy. 18) A dog snarls at a mail carrier but does not bite. 10, and 13 are more of just having bad behavior that comes off aggressive. The man doesn’t need to gossip, and the enraged boy has no need to fight his antagonist. He could just be the bigger person in this story. However 18 is more self- defense because dog’s don’t act aggressive unless they know something bad will come to them.
This Item of Archive made me sit and think about what aggression really is. And I wonder if I gave this to someone, what they would think aggression is. I feel like a lot people kind of in a way think the same, but also a lot of people think differently, so this makes me curious as to what others think about.

This is an example of a reminders list that I would exactly do when getting ready for an interview.
- Meeting your future in-laws for the first time. Self-enhancement: I would make sure that I looked presentable with my hair done, and makeup done nice. I would also make sure that I had a nice outfit on, nothing that shows too much but something simple. Other-enhancement I would say how they raised such a good man who I can’t wait to marry, and say how I heard such great, funny stories about my partner and my future in-laws. Also, comment on them having the time to meet me and the cooking.
- Going on an interview for an internship. Self-enhancement: I would make sure that I wear black slacks, ironed and clean, with a long sleeve button down white shirt also ironed. I would tuck it in with a black belt. Make sure that my hair, and makeup is simple for an interview, and wear a blazer. Other-enhancement: I would tell my interviewer that I am glad that she had the time of his/her day to interview me, and express how glad I am to be able to experience this to better my future in more a professional setting.
- Going on an interview for graduate school. Self-enhancement: I would do the same thing for what I did for my internship the same kind of outfit, hair and makeup. Other-enhancement: I would tell the person who is interviewing me how much I can’t wait to continue my education, especially at a school that I already have such history with, in a professional setting.
- Meeting your new boss for the first time. Self-enhancement: I would dress in my uniform, or dress code that is required for my work, with my hair and makeup done too its standards. Other-enhancement: I would comment about the work environment how, everyone is so inviting and how I feel like it’s the boss doing for everyone being so welcoming.
- Meeting the classmates who will be working with you on a group project. Self-enhancement: I would just be wearing what I normally wear, jeans and a t-shirt. My makeup normal, and hair too. I wouldn’t really care about what I looked like because it is the project that matters. Of course, if we did a presentation I would dress for the right time. Other-enhancement: I would just bring up how if any of the guys need help I am there to help. That I understand when things come up and if someone falls behind.
- Meeting a professor for the first time. Self-enhancement: I think I would be wearing what I would if I meet my classmates, jeans and a t-shirt, hair and makeup normal. Other-enhancement: I would comment on how I hear great things about this class, and I can’t wait to see about the new things I would get to learn from this class.
This Item of Archive was pretty fun because, I do all of these things. It’s like a daily thing for me. I always make lists and think about how I look and what people think of me and my appearance. This did hit home when I meet my in laws. I was really nervous about what they thought of me, and now I couldn’t have asked for better in laws.

My husband and I were just sitting in the living room, and I happened to come across an ad about Disney World in Orlando. My husband at the time had taken a month off from work, and we both had travel reward points to do it. So, we just said let’s do it, because he has never been to Disney, however I have in California. We both drove to Norfolk Naval Base because he gets a discount of the tickets. And towards the end of October we got to spend 5 days at all theme parks in Orlando.

When I failed my first Exam for Social Psychology, at first I was really upset that I failed so badly, but I knew that for the next two tests that I can and will do better next time.

My husband and I sat in traffic for 2 and half hours to go to the movies in Hampton to watch Gemini Man, because they have recliners. I made a joke that we would sit more in traffic to see a movie that wasn’t even this long of a wait. We both laughed thinking that it was a possibility, and it turn out to be true. We spend more time in traffic than we did at the movies.

My ex boyfriend from my freshmen year of high school messaged me. I had to tell my husband that he did because I always block him, and every couple of years he will reach out and find me. It’s been a sensitive topic because I can’t get rid of him, and it makes my husband upset that we can’t enjoy our lives with my ex always trying to be in it.

I was walking my dog Lilah outside, and she had a sweater on to keep her warm from the weather. And when we where at the spot where the potty area is, we meet another dog owner with their dog. We both made small talk, about our dogs, and watched how our dogs playing together.
This one is ranked 3, because I got to sit down and actually think about what I did that day that made me think what kind of person I am. I feel like the traits I chose is what makes me kind of who I am, and how I used that trait that day. Disney was for sure the best trait and day I had so I was excited to talk about this one.

Here is an example of how news analysts overemphasize drastic cases in reporting the news. The reporter here is acting like the winds are really strong when you see two guys in the back are walking normally. The role that the media plays in representative heuristics is having us believe that he’s in an actually heavy winds, just by the way his body is position to make it look like the wind is strong. The role that the media plays in availability heuristic is having the audience make a decision whether or not to go outside, and be safe because he had us believe that it was really dangerous.
This makes me laugh all the time I see it, because I see how over the top media can be especially for weather. Of course at times things like this are to be taken very much serious. But when you are acting as if the weather is that bad, and you have someone behind acting calm, it’s the best. So this one is ranked 2 for me.

Do opposites attract? Or do common interests attract you?
When finding someone attractive do you go for someone who has the same similarities as you, or complete opposites? For me personally, my husband of 9 years, 5 years married has made my life interesting, I’m always on my toes with him. I’ve learned and gain so much from an individual, till this day I always gain new knowledge, hobbies or even interests just because we are both so opposite, but does he feel the same way? Or do other people besides us, feel the same way?
So, I asked him. Just because I was curious as to what he had to say. He thinks that we are both similar, and I think in a way we are NOW. Before we started dating we were both different. And now many years later I think we both developed each others personalities that we are now similar to each other.

My twin friends Marla & Grecia are two of my best friends. Both of these ladies have not been in relationships yet, and I was curious as to what they both had thought about relationships and if it matter.

I had given the girls both of the opposite and attraction and had them choose which one they had connected to the most. Marla chose attraction, and Grecia chose opposites.

After the findings, I feel like similarities is what people are most attracted too. It makes them feel safe knowing that someone can understand what they feel, and think of anything.
This one was my absolutely favorite. I love seeing people talking about their interests in someone, because it makes them happy. Hearing and seeing what they like about the someone because they have same interests or different ones. And also too because I got to see what my husband thought about us seeing how we point have different points of views, and got me to see how we were truly different in the beginning and now we are both so similar now.
