CYSE 270

LINUX SYSTEM FOR CYBERSECURITY

Reflection about the course:

I had to take this class for my cybersecurity major. This class taught me how to install, set, and exploit a Linux virtual machine through many interesting and complex labs. I learned how to set up users, groups, and basic networks as well.

I really enjoyed taking part in this course, as it allowed me to discover how the world of Linux worked related to cybersecurity. I felt like the pacing of the course was ideal. It allowed me to learn a lot in a fairly short amount of time about the subject. The amount of work required to succeed in this class is more than fair; learning Linux is like learning a new language, a lot is similar to Windows but still different.

This class allowed me to develop a huge interest in Linux. I found out that many actions and task requires Linux in cybersecurity. taking this course made me want to explore more about the subject.
