About Me

Hello everyone! My name is Natalie Lovelace, most people just call me Nat, and I am looking forward to learning new material in this class and maybe getting to know some of you. I currently live in small town Collinsville, Virginia. I am 21 years old and a Junior majoring in Psychology. I have a deep passion for Psychology and desire to learn everything I can to better understand people and their behavior, mental health, and differences. Throughout my life I have personally been effected by the impacts of mental health by seeing close family members struggle and also dealing with my own battle. I have a strong sense to help others because I feel like I can relate somewhat from my own experiences. I want to provide help for others by being personally invested in them rather than just doing it as a job. Once I finish my bachelors, my intentions are to continue with my masters and go from there. My main focus right now is doing my best in school and I am ready to put in the work to learn the most. I’m excited to take this course to become more educated on the psychological impacts on different cultures and be able to apply that knowledge in the future to help a diverse group of people.

Best of luck to everyone this semester!
