The course objectives here in psyc 304 are designed to open the students to the world of social psychology. Allowing us to dive deeper into the way perceive others, how attitudes are formed and effect behavior, the origins of prejudice, and what leads to deeper relationships. These objectives are usable not only in the world of social psychology but our every day life as well. Whether it is understanding another perspective or being able to cope with the way certain people may not interact well with our own type of personality.
I hope to gain a knowledge that will help me in my career field of ministry, knowledge of how different social environments and attitudes react to certain situations. This helps with the wide range of personality that I work with on a day to day basis. Understanding how attitudes are formed and changed for example is one way that I plan to use this knowledge. The world of social psychology is vast and offers many insights into the modern world and how it operates from the point of view of a person or group. This is what brings my interest to the subject and how I hope to utilize it as a tool of understanding in my daily life.
This photo is of my work space in my office. I chose to share it as it is my quiet space so that I am able to read and take my massive amount of notes. I find that in our fast pace world it is of the most importance to have a place like this in order to dive into our studies.
