Lingro Learning
Lingrolearning is where we did all of our homework. This ranged from practicing grammar, and vocabulary to learning other peoples cultures. Lingrolearning was a very hands on website. Not only did we practice grammar and vocabulary but we also practiced speaking and recording ourselves on lingrolearning. I think this is one of the most effective ways to learn spanish instead of getting written homework assignments that will just stress you out.

This homework assignment in module 8 helped us learn how to hear spanish instead of seeing it. We were ordered to listen to the pronounciations and choose with sound it is. I find this very helpful be cause I can answer spanish when I see it written doen but when I hear it I have a hard time understanding. These type of questions help you hear spanish a little easier.

In module 10 and other module we were given picture and we had to match what they are to their picture. This helps enhance your vocabulary skills. Studying and memorization can only go so far and practicing with pictures can help!

Proyecto
Another part of lingro learning was our proyecto. We had different projects for different modules that were given to us. The project would either be creating a video or powerpoint and it would be about that certain module. Here are some of my favorites from the Proyectos. After we have posted our proyectos we would have to view three other proyectos from our classmates and comment on them. I liked this because you could see what everyone elses passion was and what they like.

This Proyecto was to create a powerpoint of any sport and talk about its benefits and try to get people to be interested and sign up for the sport! I liked this proyecto because my favorite sport is Futebol and I love to share its benefits with everyone!

This proyecto was about relieving stress. We got to pick what ever topic we thought would either relieve stress or how to fix a sickness. I chose sleep because I love sleeping and I know how to do it well. These proyectos I enjoy because it allows you to get creative and do whatever you want while learning spanish.
This is my all time favorite because we got to create a cooking video but in spanish. We explained what we needed to use, what we were going to make and how to make it. I also really enjoyed looking at everyone elses videos! I finally know how to make beef jerky thanks to my classmate!

At the end of every proyecto we get a Reflexionar. This reflection allows us to let the professor know how we are doing and what we learned throught the proyecto. This helps us break down what we learned but also get feedback from the professor.
TalkAbroad
Talkabroad was scary but helpful, unfortunatley I was unable to do the first one but I did get to do the second one. Talkabroad you get to talk to someone that lives in a spanish speaking country and you talk to them about a certain subject for 15 minutes. This was very interesting but fun and scary all at the same time.
SPAN-102-TalkAbroad-Workbook-DOS-ContrasenaI was not able to upload the audio of my Talkabroad however it was very fun. David my partner was very helpful and we talked about many things. We talked about what we like to do, how are family is and how we relieve stress. We talked about how both of us like to lift weights and excercise. It was trult a great experience and I loved it!
Professor Garcia
Last but not least is my professor. He was always there to help and was the real heart of spanish. He would come in everyday with a powerpoint and teach us the vocabulary and grammar. He helped a lot and would even do some of the lingro learning assignments with us.
CamScanner-12-09-2022-19.49This was handed to us by Professor Garcia and the rest was through canvas. Everyday we would have a new assignment that we would do in class will everyone. Sometimes we were called upon to answer a question or we were told to work it out with our classmates. This helped alot because we could always get help in class.
Overall
This semester has been amazing and I have learned so much through Professor Garcia and my classmates. I only need Spanish 102 for my degree but I know I will be using it alot throughout my career. I also am going on a cruise to Spain this summer so I will try my spanish in a real spanish speaking country! I had a wonderful semester and cant wait to use my second language more!
