Description: In this course, we focused on how technology is related to cybersecurity from an interdisciplinary, or multi-discipline, understanding. In our modules and discussions, we focused on topics that connect cybersecurity issues to cultural, political, legal, ethical, and business domains. We also had discussions such as cyber technology and criminal behavior, ethical situations of cyber efforts, and economic impact of cybersecurity.

Reflection: This was one of the first courses that opened my eyes to cybersecurity from an interdisciplinary perspective and the impact that it truly has on all parts of society. In this course we were assigned an analytical paper that I described the importance of implementing and developing effective cyber-policies. I really started understand the importance of not only understanding technology but also understanding outside influences of cybersecurity issues in society.
