About Me

Ever since I can remember, technology has been a part of my life. I have loved growing up in the age of technology and learning about all of the new innovations and advancements people are making with the use of tech. I think this is one of the biggest reasons cybersecurity caught my attention. I have loved learning about the ins and outs of devices and networks and what it takes to keep them secure. I have also learned a lot about how a lot of the world has yet to learn about what the devices in their hand are actually doing. This is why you will see my focus in a lot of my work is base upon the importance of cybersecurity education in, not only young people, but everyone.

I graduated high school from Grassfield High School in Chesapeake, Virginia and decided to continue my education at Paul D. Camp Community College in Franklin, VA. I decided to go to PDC because it was close to home and I was offered the chance to play collegiate fast-pitch softball. I played on the team for two years while obtaining my Associates degree in Computer Science. However, COVID hit in 2020 which stopped my softball career and luckily I was able to get into ODU to pursue my degree in Cybersecurity. I have loved the last two years at ODU and have been given the opportunity to meet so many amazing students and professors along with life long connections that I know I will always use. I plan to continue my education at ODU and also plan to study and obtain certifications such as Security+.
