AI as we know it is ever growing. It is progressing at an extremely fast rate, and is growing evermore complex. With something like AI, if we don’t maintain a consistent understanding and pursue it’s changing nature than we are bound to fall behind not only technologically, but functionally.
- Data Management responsibilities help maintain the structural integrity of its systems. It helps manage information, security, decision making, the quality of the data, and much more. These things are all incredibly important as AI becomes integrated into business operations. AI analyzes data and uses that data and decision making to generate responses and outputs on its own. Data management teams work to make that more reliable and uphold the foundation that is crucial for a smooth running operation.
- In my opinion the integration of AI changes where IT fits within the structure of an organization because AI is progressing at a rate that even we struggle to keep up with at times. I believe that by programming AI to learn and think on its own is causing us to begin to create barriers aside from things that progress it. Of course, we continue to develop and progress AI as we know it today. However, AI is now at the front end of operations. It is apart of countless businesses, whether that be applied just as a customer service representative, or whether it is the face of the company. Of course IT will always be apart of it, at this point in time that seems to be necessary, its a foundation of Artificial intelligence, but I believe AI will stand out more and be able to learn some to do some of the basics in IT.
