This picture was an art piece I made during an ODU event to show peace and equality.

During this assignment, I learned more about myself and America. It showed me how many values that we have as a country and how important it is to us. Not only did the assignment show me how important values have been made in our country but also how different we are from other cultures and their values. I believe this assignment ties in with my human services class. It shows me what to look for, what not to look for, and what to expect out of other Americans. For example, clients expecting equality and fairness. This assignment was personally relevant toward me because it shows me how much more I haven’t accepted other peoples cultures or values and how I need to be more open-minded towards others.
