The course objectives in the syllabus will help me with a few things in my future life. To begin, they will help me personally. They will give me the chance to learn more about others or myself. It will give me more understanding when dealing with others and help me keep in mind that different people have different values, beliefs, and backgrounds and these things influence their experience, situations, and situation response. I hope to gain skills to help apply these cultural aspects and learnings to my everyday life. Also, I hope to gain the ability to make connections in my other psychology classes or my human service classes. Not only make the connection with my classes but also make connections outside of my educational experiences. One of the ways I plan on successfully passing this class is organization. Also, I plan on taking notes while using and making sure I look up words I don’t understand. In the picture above are my notes. These notes are called Cornell notes because the notes are aligned on one side, the other side is for questions and the bottom is for an overall summary. Not only do I plan on be organizing, taking notes, and using a dictionary but also, I am going to work on not procrastinating.
