I believe that fairy tales do reflect a shared set of cultural norms and values. Fairy tales are what certain people believe in their everyday life. An example of egalitarian is the fairy tale movie Mulan. She enters the war as a woman pretending to be a man because women are not allowed. In the end, they accept her for her gender. I believe it showed women that you are allowed to do whatever they want. Just because you are not a man does not mean you can not be strong and included in the hardships of a  country. On the other hand, princess Tiana shown in the picture is a positive influence. She is a woman who works hard for what she wants.
