Artifact 5

The fifth top artifact I chose would be module 8. Module 8 talked about stereotyping, prejudice, and discrimination. It was not my favorite due to the topic, but it was my favorite due to how interesting it was. It is crazy how there are still so many stereotypes in 2020. This module was really enjoyable when it came to placing the words with different races. This subject does make me uncomfortable, but it is amazing what we still deal with all these years later

Artifact 4

In module 3, we got to talk about social psychology. To complete the activity, we had to answer some questions about if similarity leads to attraction or if opposites attract. I ultimately believe that similarity lead more to attraction. When you share the same similarities, you tend to like to be around each other. If you like the same movies, same music, and same food, it easier for you to be around that person because it easy to find things to do because you like the same type of things. The questions really helped me realize why I believe my phenomenon is true.  

Artifact 3

Module 5 was also one of my favorite artifacts to complete. Because I am very close to graduating, self-enhancement was definitely something I needed to be thinking about. This module had me think about how I would have to do things differently to succeed in the real world. I had to think about how I could enhance myself to become the best version of myself in the real world. I tend to slack in a lot of things such as interviews right now because I ultimately know they are just temporary jobs to get me by for the time being. I definitely have to do better as far as self-enhancement to prepare myself for a real career very soon down the road. 

Artifact 2

In module 4, we were asked to watch a video entitled, “Are We Scaring Ourselves to Death.” This module most engaged me because I was able to relate to a lot of the situations mentioned in the video. After watching the video, it truly made me believe that we actually do live in fear because we let the media persuade us in a negative way. Based on a lot of the things we see in the media, we are made to believe that nothing good is going on around us. Rather than living in fear, we have to know that there is always something positive going on around us. 

Artifact 1

My favorite artifact would definitely be module 12. Module 12 was about aggression. I enjoyed the activity in the module because I actually enjoyed learning about the different types of aggression. It also helped me to get a better understanding of the difference between aggression and anger. Overall, it was my favorite item to archive.
