Based on the article, I completely agree that there is a connection between music and relationships. My boyfriend and I have bonded in a variety of ways over the years based on our music preferences. I also have a group of girl friends and we bond over our similar taste in music as well. My girl friends and I share majority of the same values and ideals so I believe that is why we have very similar preferences in the music we choose.

I have one song that I have been listening to everyday because it reminds me that no matter what may be going on in my life, I will rise up and get through it. Rise Up by Andra Day is such an inspirational song to my friends and I. Every morning, someone in our group chat will send the song just to start the day off with some inspiration.
