There I went from being someone who couldn&#8217;t tell you what Linux was, to someone who could easily break a Linux server on accident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I was stationed on board DDG 67 USS COLE for four years. In that time I quickly began learning the practical skills needed to become a Domain administrator for my ship, and became one of two Communication Watch Officers onboard Cole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I currently work for Motorola Solutions in the Sustainment team for the Navy Emergency Land Mobile Radio (ELMR) system.
