After viewing the Ted Talk I was shocked, but I was also in a way not shocked because many different advertisements that are being used on social media today stereotype women. International Women’s Day has just recently passed and I can now see that many brands created advertisements to make it seem as though that they were supporting women and their rights, however in reality they really are not. Major companies and brands use their fellow women coworkers as poster children for International Women’s Day. This type of behavior from a company/brand in an advertisement is absolutely appalling.
