Hi, My name is Makayla Joyner. I will graduate in 2028 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). I am from Hampton, VA, which is not too far up the road. I chose Old Dominion University because I didn’t want to move too far from school and wanted a school specializing in my major. I secondly honor the partnership with ODU and Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS). I think it would help further my education and provide new opportunities for my career. My hobbies include traveling, journaling, reading, and crafting. I hope to one day mix my passion for travel and helping others and use it to become the best version of myself.
