He has worked on projects for multiple Global 2000 companies, the US Army, and national non-profits as both a researcher and consultant. He was a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Alabama, earned his Ph.D. from Virginia Commonwealth University, M.A. from Gonzaga University, and B.S. from Clemson University. Prior to academia, he worked in engineering, operations, finance, and sales.<\/p>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-264 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/sites.wp.odu.edu\/managementresearchlab\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12449\/2019\/09\/Sheila-Keener.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"225\" \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sheila Keener<\/strong> is an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.odu.edu\/directory\/people\/s\/skeener\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Assistant Professor in Management<\/a> at Old Dominion University. Her research focuses on Human Resource Management topics such as executive compensation and personnel selection.
