Pete Weber Missouri Classic. This event occurred on February 18th<\/sup>, 2025, located in Springfield Missouri at Enterprise Park lanes. This event is the 5th<\/sup> game of 2025 Professional Bowling Association (PBA) tour season. This tournament includes 5 professional bowlers that have qualified to participate in this tournament stepladder bracket. The 5 bowlers that have qualified for this tv live tournament are Dom Barrett, Ryan Barnes, Timmy Tan, Tim Foy Jr., and EJ Tackett.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first match is Dom Barrett vs Ryan Barnes. Ryan Barnes is 22 years old, from Denton Texas and this is his first year being pro. He is also son of professional bowler hall of Fame Chris Barnes. Dom Barrett who is 39 years old from Great Bentley England and has been pro for 16 years. He also currently holds 10 PBA tour titles. The current Arsenal that Dom Barrett has is the mesmerize, Hypnotize, Effect Tour, Stealth Mode, and Stealth Hybrid. Then the current Arsenal that Ryan Barnes has is Optimum Idol, Origin, Zen 25, and Road Warrior. This means that these are the different types of bowling balls that they bring that have a different amount of hook potential in them. The different balls help them adjust to the oil pattern as games continue. The match ended up finishing 141 to 190 in favor of Dom Barret.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Second match is Timmy Tan vs Dom Barret. Timmy Tan is 30 years old, from Selangor Malaysia and has been pro for 9 years. He does not have any PBA tour titles. Timmy Tan has an arsenal consisting of the X-Cell, Equinox, Zen 25, and the Road Warrior. He is throwing the X-Cell bowling ball, while Dom Barret is throwing the Stealth Mode. This was a ball change from the first match where Dom Barret was originally throwing the Mesmerize. Going into the ninth frame the game was very close the score was max score of 247 for Dom and max score of 257 for Timmy. In the tenth frame Timmy first shot left 1 pin standing bringing his max score down to a 245. Timmy picked up the spare and struck his second shot leading his score to a 245. This opens the door for Dom because if he gets 2 strikes and 9pins Dom will win the match by 2 points. Dom secures the match by doing just that and wins the match 246 to 245.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Third match is Tim Foy Jr. vs Dom Barrett. Tim Foy Jr. is 37 years old from Seaford Delaware and has been pro for 12 years. Tim Currently has no PBA tour titles. Tim Foy Jr. has an arsenal like Dom which consists of the Hypnotize, Effect Tour, Stealth Mode, and GB5. Going into frame nine of this match the max scores currently sit at 236 for Tim and 239 for Dom. Both Tom and Tim strike in the 9th<\/sup> frame so max scores are still the same going into the last frame of the match. Tom clutches the match by shutting out Tim with 3 strikes winning the match with a score of 239.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The final match is EJ Tackett vs Dom Barrett. EJ Tackett is 32 years old from Ossian Indian and has been pro for 14 years. EJ has 24 PBA tour titles. EJ is throwing the ball the venom shock for this match. This match was neck and neck, but EJ end up wining with a score of 238 to the possible 236. Wining his 25th<\/sup> PBA tour title. EJ said, \u201cThis is trophy that will be really cool in 20 to 30 years because it says P.E.W\u201d Having to win an event like this with the icon Pete weber presenting it to you is something that will always live on.<\/p>\n<\/div>
