Things are getting gassy in here!!
I interviewed Dr. Dan Kaufman who is the head of anesthesia at Lynbrook Surgery Center in Lynbrook New York. He got his undergraduate in engineering at Columbia University and then went on to medical school at Mount Sinai. He did his internship at Maimonides Hospital and residency at Mount Sinai hospital. While interviewing Dr. Dan I learned that you don’t have to major in something medical related to go into the medical field. the head doctors and surgeons also make the schedule for the other surgeons and nurses. It’s important for the anesthesia field to consider climate at work because the anesthesia gasses come out as pollutants that can harm the environment. When going into he medical field it is important that you learn a little bit of everything, mainly business and psychology, and not just the health related things.
