Outside of the classwork I have used the skills I learned in Spanish at my previous workplace, The Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters. At my previous job we had a lot of Spanish speaking patients and families that inspired me to take the course to begin with; that being said, learning Spanish allowed me to talk to them in there native language and make them more comfortable.
NOTE: Unfortunately due to HIPPA laws I was unable to take video or record anything from these appointments.
