Reflective Paper #1
My team (Amanee, Nicolo, and Josh) met for the first time to discuss how we would do this project. We decided on the best times to meet for all our future meetings with each other. We also talked about how we would break down all the assignments so that we would not rush at the last minute to complete any assignment. We also brainstormed and talked about what ideas we had for creating an innovation that we could develop into an entrepreneurial business that would be successful. We all took turns explaining the tasks we had to do, and we fostered an environment of mutual learning. Our initial discussion clarified all the assignments and tasks we each needed to complete as well as showing all our perspectives within our team. After we had our discussion about the assignments, we then had a brainstorming session in this initial meeting. We encouraged every idea, no matter how outlandish it seemed. This open-minded approach led to a flurry of ideas, some of which would become the seeds of our innovation. Among the multitude of ideas, one stood out. It was a simple yet powerful concept that unconventionally addressed the assignment’s requirements. This idea, born out of our collective brainstorming, marked our first step toward innovation. Once we landed on an idea that we thought would be perfect for our entrepreneurial endeavor, we were able to start on the assignments.
Overall, our first meeting was one of our most important meetings since it established a foundation for us to start our entrepreneurial project. We ultimately decided on creating an application set for app stores. This app would be more on the educational side and would teach cybersecurity knowledge.

Reflective Paper #2
My team and I met up again to discuss our innovation further. We started solving the big questions for our proposal and started outlining the paper. What is the problem you are addressing? We decided that the problem we are addressing would be people being uneducated in the world of cybersecurity. We could protect seniors by providing knowledge about topics. The next question was, how do you know it’s a problem? We answered this with It is a clear problem because people continue to fall victim to scams whether simple or complex. That can range from a phishing attack or something more complex like a trojan horse. Older people have not kept up with current technology practices. Younger people like millennials as well can sometimes fall a bit behind on current topics. The next question was what are we going to do about the problem? We answered this by saying We will create a sort of training app to educate people on various topics regarding cybersecurity. The last main question mentioned was what barriers do you expect to confront? We answered by saying barriers we expect to confront are user downloads on the app store. If we are giving out free advice people will not think this is a legit website. The initial app could make individuals download an app when many people don’t like downloading apps to their phones unless they are familiar with it.
Once we had these questions answered, we were all able to outline each of our proposals. Later, we finished and finalized each of our proposals and started working on other assignments until we all got our grades back on the proposals. Overall, this was another one of the more important meetings we had.

Reflective Paper #3
This was the last meeting we had together to finalize everything and finish all assignments. We went over the first two pages of our academic papers about the problem and innovation so that we could compare to make sure we are all still on the same page. We went over all the scholarly sources we provided to each other and went through them all as a group. By doing this we were able to eliminate repetitive ones or ones that were not of direct relation to the topics in our paper. We also confirmed that our target group for our app will be people of 50 years and older. We also confirmed with each other that our app will be profitable, so a 7-day free trial and paid plans (4.99 a month for individuals, 8.99 for a family plan a month, or a $50 yearly subscription). We also all created a logo and chose which one was the best. Furthermore, we talked about how we would advertise our application and discussed more about how we would finish all the other assignments.
We also talked about another issue/barrier we were having with combining Amanee’s major which was leadership. We solved this issue by combining how interdisciplinary studies are important in the entrepreneurial process as well as in our innovation. By mentioning interdisciplinary aspects in these processes, we could then bring up leadership and the importance of it in this entire process. Overall, we finalized everything and thanked each other for everyone pulling their weight and working together well to have a smooth process and a fun time learning about the entrepreneurial process.
