Dear Employer,

Through my experience with ODU Athletics and their communications team I have gained bounds of experience on various sports I have not learned about before. I am now versed on the rules of basketball, field hockey, lacrosse and soccer like I was not before and have become a better sports analyst because of it.

I feel through this internship and what I have learned I can be more of a force than ever, If I so choose to work in the sports industry as a journalist. Through assisting with writing articles, sifting through stats and records, as well as being hands on in various sports games, I feel comfortable with being in the sports realm.

My growth into becoming a more confident individual with my passion for sports has grown and I am ready for the tasks handed to me when it comes to dealing with sports matters. I have grown with AP Style, statistics researching, and communication skills through this opportunity.
