I am majoring at ODU in Biomedical Sciences with a Pre-Health concentration. I chose this major because of my interest not just in health sciences, but in the sciences. I am fascinated by optimal nutrition for an athlete, but also the chemical breakdowns occurring within the process of digestion. I was initially drawn into the health field by concepts like virology, cancer biology, and genetics.

I have no prior experience in the field as of Oct, 2023, in terms of work or internship. That being said, I have spent many, many hours in hospitals, labs, rehabilitation centers, physical therapy clinics, and other health facilities in my lifetime, speaking to medical professionals about their careers and journeys.
