As my semester for Cell Biology comes to an end, I would like to share what I have learned in connection with Marine Biology. I have greatly learned about to process behind abnormal gene expressions and cryptic transcription that allows for its hidden existence. This process is extremely important when looking at microscopic pollutes in marine life. In knowledge of cryptic promoters outside the usual transcription process, I am able to critically think about the use of this knowledge. It may be possible, that after my degree I find that micro-pollutants are increasing the prompting of cryptic sequences. Due to this class, I will now be able to suggest further research into how the micro-pollutants are increasing this process, in comparison to the usual details of cryptic and normal transcription. Along with the ability to note abnormalities in marine life to have a cause of cryptic transcription.
