The document indicates that it will be essential for future workers to know about using AI tools. This is because AI tools are being used mostly by every company on a regular basis. As and example, like how the internet impacted how we do our jobs and how we communicate with each other, AI will significantly affect numerous careers. Workers knowing how to effectively use AI tools will allow them to accomplish their tasks more efficiently, resolve issues quickly, and improve their ability to make smart decisions. Therefore, future workers who know how to use AI tools correctly will likely be at an advantage in the workplace. 

The significance of Data Management and its responsibilities such as data governance and compliance which is increasing in importance since all AI systems rely on vast amounts of accurate and relevant data. As a result, if the data used by the AI is not valid, outdated, or does not meet appropriate security or privacy standards then the AI may create false information.  Given the expanding adoption of AI by businesses protecting and appropriately managing data continues to grow in relevance.   

In my opinion, I believe that AI is changing where IT functions inside of an organization. IT departments were perceived primarily as technical support. Currently, IT departments are playing a greater strategic role in business because AI requires access to technology, data and security to operate. As companies begin to apply and integrate AI into their businesses, IT departments will play a key role in supporting organizations efforts to deploy AI applications, protect their data and assist organizations in making informed decisions throughout various departments. Based in this, I believe that IT is becoming a more integral part of today’s organizations and is no longer simply viewed as a support function.
