throughout class this semester not only have I learned skills within the industry such as public speaking but also teamwork within group presentations I feel like some of these assignments helped with my overall communication and problem solving skills. The social media persona as well as the NIL white paper were great assignment I felt help me work on those skills I previously discussed as well as the WordPress site in general it was very cool to start from scratch and watch your work grow and in the end be able to tell a story in a sense as well as give optimal information about myself to the audience/ employer. The main thing I believe I benefitted most from was the penpal assignment not only was I able to make new personal connections but I was able to use that assignment in many more ways for instance me and chuck really dove into what aspects of the sports industry I have an interest in. once we did that I began applying to jobs and internships which I’m grateful to say that I’ve been accepted into.
