I took cell biology at the same time as my genetics class, so there were a couple times that cell biology overlapped with genetics. It was specifically when we learned about how dna was replicated that I first saw overlap. Having both classes go over the same subject in different ways actually made it easier to understand how the processes worked. It also helped when we went over protein synthesis because the way you learn about protein synthesis is similar to how you learn about dna replication. Cell biology gave me a better insight to what my major will take me to and I now have a better grasp of the inner-workings of the micro world.
