Week 6 Discussion Board

The human firewall is a concept that requires some adjustments. There are changes needed in social norms, media coverage, and communication within organizations. In organizations, I think it is necessary for leaders to adopt a culture of communicating and not being afraid to double check face to face or via phone before making critical decisions.  Media companies have the means to mass communicate and inform people of cyberattacks, what the weight of the attacks are, and how people can protect themselves. I think it is important though to not overdo it and make people numb to it. Socially, I think changes in personal information sharing and self-protection can be addressed by influencers and leaders on different platforms.
