Week 1 journal entry

There are many career and specific job options in the vast world of cybersecurity. Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses, and things they do and do not like. I tend to favor the Design and Development (DD) and Implementation and Operation (IO) fields, and a slight attraction towards Oversight and Governance (OG). Fields of disinterest would include Investigation (IN) and Cyberspace Intelligence (CI).

                Some specific jobs that I find interesting are Systems Requirement Planning, Systems Testing and Evaluation, and Network Operations. I enjoy working with people to understand their needs, as well as testing systems and seeing in real-time what is being produced.

                Investigation seems to offer little interest or value to me personally, and some career choices would include Cybercrime Investigation and Digital Evidence Analysis.
