From assignment 1, I learned that social psychology is the scientific study that deals with social interactions, including the origins and their effects on the individual. After reading the course syllabus, I learned the different aspects and topics I will be learning in this course. This assignment is personally relevant to me, because it will help me achieve my goal in becoming a child psychologist. Through this class, I will gain knowledge necessary for me to attain my ideal career. What I learned about social psychology through the course syllabus could possibly help me with my other classes that I am currently taking. For instance, I might be able to apply logic from this course to concept with my other classes. I chose to take this course, because I am very intrigued by the vast contents of this course.

Becoming a child psychologist is my ultimate career goal. This assignment made me realize that this class will greatly benefit and aid me in fulfilling that final goal.
