One of the best study tips for many students is to look up the correct answers to the questions that were missed and analyze why the answer choice was incorrect. After doing this process with my scores from exam one, I learned that I need to review and focus more on social cognition, because it was one of my weakest topics. According to the exam results, I missed a few questions from the chapter that covered social cognition. This studying method was really helpful, because it showed me which topics I need to work on and re- read carefully. From this process,  I learned that taking a pre- test containing the same contents of the real exam would really help me focus.

After correcting my mistakes from the exam, I augmented my notes properly and accordingly as  I read through the chapters. I realized that I wrote down some incorrect information, but I fixed it after reading the chapters again. I did space the review sheet over the week prior to the test, because I feel like I would retain information better like this. By spacing the review sheet throughout the course of the week, I did not feel overwhelmed when I took the exam. I think this feedback will help me with my test taking strategy on future tests, because it will force my brain to do process of elimination with the answer choices. When I am unsure of a question, I will prove why three of the answer choices are wrong. Then, the remaining one will be the answer I choose and will most likely be correct. By doing so, it will make me feel more confident and do better during the test.

Social cognition is concerned about how individuals think about the social worlds and how they attempt to understand complex issues. Social cognition was one of the topics I was very weak on in the test. Therefore, I will need to study the content harder and take better notes with this chapter.
