There are numerous valuable information I have learned from the e- Portfolio assignments. One of the top three things I learned from the assignments include music being a key identifier of oneself. Assignment 2 really helped me realize the great impact of music to my life and those people who influence me the most. This assignment made me become fully aware that music and relationships have a very intense connection with one another. One thing that I learned from the e- Portfolio assignments that was engraved in my mind is Michael Richard’s tirade. This assignment allowed me to analyze racist thoughts and motivations. His inappropriate rant proved that racism comes from a deep seated hatred for a certain race. Lastly, another thing that I learned from the assignments that had an impression on me is the Styles of Love Questionnaire. This test made me realize which types of love I was low or high for. This questionnaire was highly interesting to me, because of how accurate and on point my results were.

From assignment 3, I learned more about racism and the motivation for conducting such inappropriate acts. From blog 3, Kilbourne Jean’s video, “Killing Us Softly- Advertising Image of Women,” discusses the unfair treatment of women in society. While racism can be defined the belief of one race over another, discrimination can often result from it. Discrimination is the unjust treatment of different categories of people, including their sex. While assignment three focuses on racism, it is closely related with blog four’s topic of discrimination.

One thing I have learned from this course that applied to my Child Psychology course is that credible sources, such a doctors and physicians van be very vital in research and advertisements. In blog 5, I concluded that credible sources can come from experts such as doctors and psychologists. Individuals who are knowledgeable of their expertise can be more trusted when advertising or providing diagnosis. For one of my assignments in Child Psychology, I had to analyze which illness a child possesses based on the diagnosis from doctors and psychologists. These two assignments relate to one another, because they greatly suggest that experts can be credible sources.

However, I was able to figure out the relationships of different subjects with other courses.
