(L)eadership

To complete the Leadership category, I took the Leadership Lecture Series, also known as LLS. Attending these three Leadership Lecture Series via Zoom was a one-of-a-kind experience that has helped me develop new skills in both my professional and daily life. This covered a range of evaluations pertaining to diversity in our society, leadership, and personal objectives. The three Leadership Lecture Series in which I participated were: Getting your Finance$ in Order, Inspire a Share Vision & Challenge the Process, and Enable Others to Act & Encourage the Heart.

  1. The first Leadership Lecture Series focused on “Getting your Finance$ in Order.” I gained new abilities and realized how crucial it is to manage my money since, as an outstanding leader, two of the most important tools are accountability and responsibility. I learned about and explored various approaches to organize my funds. This not only benefits me as a leader, but it also helps me in my day-to-day life by keeping things organized. If in the future I manage a company, I will already have this knowledge gathered and prepared to apply.
  2. The second Leadership Lecture Series was “Inspire a Share Vision & Challenge the Process.” This one was more personal, since it discussed some of the risks we’ve made in our lives and how we feel about them. It also covered our long-term goals, as well as where, when, and how we allocate our time and resources. The main objective of this second Leadership Lecture Series was to visualize our visions of who we want to be in life and understand the obstacles we would face in achieving them. I was able to organize all of my visions thanks to it.
  3. The last Leadership Lecture Series was “Allowing Others to Act and Encouraging the Heart.” This was one of my favorite Leadership Lecture Series because, as leaders and as human beings, we must always engage with others in a positive manner. Being a great leader means having an open mind at all times, knowing how to build trust, and inspiring others to trust you as a leader. Always listening to others, acting with humility, and respecting other people’s ideas were some of the techniques I learned at this Leadership Lecture Series.

These three Leadership Lecture Series benefited me in growing as a leader and guided me to improve some of my mistakes by providing advice and ideas to improve my leadership and apply the new abilities, information, and resources they have given me throughout the years.
