3. Carta de Recomendación.

La tercera es la “Carta de Recomendación”, que es la tercera de mis escrituras. Sí me gustó realizarla, pero no fue de mis favoritas porque, aunque no parezca, lleva mucho más tiempo que las otras escrituras. La completé siguiendo las instrucciones de la Profesora Alvaro. Explicando el contenido de mi escritura, teníamos que realizar una carta de recomendación; la Profesora Alvaro nos dio que escoger a quién queríamos escribirle la carta de recomendación, incluso a cualquier empresa, ya sea imaginaria o alguna específica. No las podíamos hacer dirigidas a nosotros mismos sin necesidad de buscar a alguien más para recomendar. En la carta de recomendaciones teníamos que explicar ciertos aspectos de las personas, las cualidades, como esas habilidades califican a la persona para el trabajo, escuela, empresa o universidad. Teníamos que hablar bien de esa persona, cuánto tiempo la llevamos conociendo y otros aspectos que tiene una carta de recomendación. Por lo tanto, yo escogí la carta de recomendación para ser aceptada en la Facultad de Ingeniería con la licenciatura de Ingeniería Mecánica con la concentración de Ingeniería Aeroespacial. The third is the “Letter of Recommendation,” which is the third of my writings. I did like to do it, but it was not one of my favorites because, although it may not seem like it, it takes much more time than the other writings. I completed it following Professor Alvaro’s instructions. Explaining the content of my writing, we had to write a letter of recommendation. Professor Alvaro told us to choose who we wanted to write the letter of recommendation to, even to any company, whether imaginary or specific; we could not write them addressed to ourselves without having to look for someone else to recommend. In the letter of recommendation, we had to explain certain aspects of the person, the qualities, and how those skills qualify the person for the job, school, company, or university. We had to speak well of that person, how long we have known them, and other aspects that a letter of recommendation has. Therefore, I chose the letter of recommendation to be accepted in the Faculty of Engineering with a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Aerospace Engineering. At the bottom you can see my writing.

4. La Narración.

La cuarta es “La Narración”, que es la cuarta de mis escrituras; sinceramente, es una de las escrituras más difíciles que he realizado en esta clase e incluso es la que más me llevó tiempo a comparación de las otras escrituras. La completé siguiendo las instrucciones de la profesora Alvaro. Explicando el contenido de mi escritura, teníamos que realizar una narración de acuerdo a la fotografía que habíamos escogido al inicio del semestre. La profesora Alvaro nos dio que escoger al inicio del semestre cualquier foto que nosotros quisiéramos para describir las dos primeras escrituras del semestre. Tenía que haber una historia, ya sea inventada o algo que realmente pasó, antes de tomar esa fotografía e irla desarrollando para que fuera entretenida al lector. Tenía que tener mucho drama, ficción, alegría, tristeza, sentimientos, describir qué estaba haciendo cada persona de la fotografía; definitivamente es mucho por lo cual teníamos que escribir, pero al final todo vale la pena. Por lo tanto, yo escogí una fotografía en la que estaba con mi familia en mi país, en la que estábamos pasando la Navidad junto con toda mi familia. En la parte de abajo se observa la mitad de mi escritura porque fue una de las más largas que realicé.

The fourth is “The Narration,” which is the fourth of my writings. It is honestly one of the most difficult writings that I have done in this class, and it is even the one that took me the longest compared to the other writings. I completed it following Professor Alvaro’s instructions. Explaining the content of my writing, we had to make a narration according to the photograph that we had chosen at the beginning of the semester. Professor Alvaro gave us the choice of any photo that we wanted at the beginning of the semester to describe the first two writings of the semester. We had to have a story, either invented or something that really happened, before taking that photograph and develop it so that it would be entertaining for the reader. It had to have a lot of drama, fiction, joy, sadness, and feelings, describing what each person in the photograph was doing. It is definitely a lot to write about, but in the end it is all worth it. Therefore, I chose a photograph that was with my family in my country, that we were spending Christmas together with my entire family. At the bottom you can see half of my writing because it was one of the longest I did.

5. La Descripción.

La quinta es “La descripción”, que es la quinta y la última de mis escrituras; esta es la primera escritura que yo realicé al inicio del semestre y una de las más fáciles, podría decir. También me llevó más tiempo, no al igual que las otras escrituras, pero en el rango de 2 a 4 horas. La completé siguiendo las instrucciones de la Profesora Alvaro. Explicando el contenido de mi escritura, teníamos que realizar una descripción de acuerdo a la fotografía que habíamos escogido al inicio del semestre. La Profesora Alvaro nos dio que escoger al inicio del semestre cualquier foto que nosotros quisiéramos para describir las dos primeras escrituras del semestre. Teníamos que describir a las personas de nuestra fotografía, qué llevaban puesto, quiénes eran, los rasgos faciales, entre otros aspectos. Por lo tanto, yo escogí una fotografía en la que estaba con mi familia en mi país, en la que estábamos pasando la Navidad junto con toda mi familia. En la parte de abajo se observa la mitad de mi escritura porque fue una de las más largas que realicé.

The fifth is “The Description,” which is the fifth and last of my writings; this is the first writing I did at the beginning of the semester and one of the easiest, I could say. It also took me the longest, not as long as the other writings, but in the range of 2 to 4 hours. I completed it following the instructions of Professor Alvaro. Explaining the content of my writing, we had to make a description according to the photograph we had chosen at the beginning of the semester. Professor Alvaro gave us the choice at the beginning of the semester of any photo we wanted to describe the first two writings of the semester. We had to describe the people in our photograph: what they were wearing, who they were, their facial features, among other aspects. Therefore, I chose a photograph in which I was with my family in my country, in which we were spending Christmas together with my entire family.
