Durante este semestre, el haber tomado la clase SPAN 312W me ense\u00f1\u00f3 a extender mucho m\u00e1s mis conocimientos, tanto culturales como en mi escritura, y a tener siempre una mente abierta al momento de realizar una discusi\u00f3n. El tomar una clase de espa\u00f1ol para muchas personas que no es su primer idioma es bastante temeroso, por lo tanto no la llegan a tomar, pero lo que no se dan cuenta es que est\u00e1n perdiendo una gran oportunidad para tener un desarrollo y una evoluci\u00f3n de conocimiento en el idioma. Aunque es una clase de escritura avanzada, en mi opini\u00f3n, siento que cualquier persona la puede tener siempre y cuando le ponga la dedicaci\u00f3n adecuada y las ganas de aprender un nuevo idioma y no solo eso, sino tambi\u00e9n aprender un nuevo conocimiento cultural. Esta clase comienza el semestre y se finaliza completamente en espa\u00f1ol, la cual ayuda a crear perspectivas diferentes, desde un punto cultural hasta una autoevaluaci\u00f3n personal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Para m\u00ed, uno de los mayores objetivos de esta clase era el poder aprender y comprender nuevas formas de mejorar mi escritura, incrementar mi vocabulario en el idioma, poner en pr\u00e1ctica mi gram\u00e1tica al utilizar diferentes verbos y expresiones. Las clases en l\u00ednea, la mayor\u00eda, no tienden a ser tan interactivas con la profesora ni mucho menos con los compa\u00f1eros de clase, ya que tienden a tener un concepto m\u00e1s individualista, pero a diferencia de esta clase, SPAN 312W, nos une como una comunidad con una finalidad de mejorar y ayudar a los dem\u00e1s a crecer en un diferente idioma. Al mismo tiempo, completando los proyectos en el programa VHL. Lo que m\u00e1s me gusta de esta clase es la interacci\u00f3n constante que tuve con la Profesora Alvaro, donde me pude comunicar con ella por medio del grupo del Chat Gmail; todo el tiempo que necesitaba ayuda, ella estaba ah\u00ed para m\u00ed. English Version.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n During this semester, taking the SPAN 312W class taught me to extend my knowledge much further, both culturally and in my writing, and to always have an open mind when making a discussion. Taking a Spanish class for many people who do not speak Spanish as their first language is quite scary; therefore, they do not take it, but what they do not realize is that they are missing a great opportunity to have a development and an evolution of knowledge in the language. Although it is an advanced writing class, in my opinion, I feel that anyone can take it as long as they put in the proper dedication and the desire to learn a new language and not only that, but also learn new cultural knowledge. This class begins the semester and ends completely in Spanish, which helps create different perspectives, from a cultural point of view to a personal self-evaluation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For me, one of the biggest goals of this class was to be able to learn and understand new ways to improve my writing, increase my vocabulary in the language, and put my grammar into practice by using different verbs and expressions. Online classes, most of them, do not tend to be as interactive with the teacher or even with classmates since they tend to have a more individualistic concept, but unlike this class, SPAN 312W, it brings us together as a community with a purpose to improve and help others grow in a different language. At the same time, completing the projects in the VHL program. What I like most about this class is the constant interaction I had with Professor Alvaro, where I was able to communicate with her through the Gmail Chat group; all the time I needed help, she was there for me.
