\u00a1Buenas tardes a todos! Mi nombre es Silvia Martinez-Piche, tengo 22 a\u00f1os y soy originaria de El Salvador, Central Am\u00e9rica. Estoy estudiando la carrera de Ingenier\u00eda Mec\u00e1nica con una concentraci\u00f3n en Ingenier\u00eda Aeroespacial. Este es mi quinto a\u00f1o en la universidad. Estudiar la carrera de Ingenier\u00eda no ha sido nada f\u00e1cil; se requiere mucho esfuerzo, dedicaci\u00f3n, desempe\u00f1o y no rendirse tan f\u00e1cilmente porque durante estos cinco a\u00f1os me han ense\u00f1ado que, si es lo que tanto anhelo en la vida, tengo que seguir luchando hasta el final. Finalizar la universidad con mi t\u00edtulo es uno de mis grandes sue\u00f1os. Es emocionante pensar que ya este es mi \u00faltimo a\u00f1o de la universidad y es incre\u00edble c\u00f3mo el tiempo pasa volando. He logrado llegar tan lejos con desaf\u00edos, desveladas, risas, triunfos, alegr\u00edas, desempe\u00f1o, tristeza y entre otras m\u00e1s emociones encontradas, lo que hace de esto mi carrera, por la cual me hace sentir orgullosa poder lograr culminar mi profesi\u00f3n. Por este motivo, me describo como una persona que le gusta superarse en cada desaf\u00edo que la vida le d\u00e9; mis sue\u00f1os a corto o largo plazo y cumplir metas es uno de mis mayores objetivos en la vida. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Una de las ense\u00f1anzas que me ha ense\u00f1ado mi carrera durante estos cinco a\u00f1os es que no hay que realizar metas a largo plazo porque la vida da muchas vueltas y al final no sabemos lo que nos depara la vida o d\u00f3nde vamos a estar en los pr\u00f3ximos a\u00f1os, pero algo que s\u00ed s\u00e9 con certeza es que estoy ansiosa de lo que me espera en el futuro. Cada clase que he tomado durante todos estos \u00faltimos a\u00f1os de mi carrera me ha ayudado a tener el conocimiento, aprendizaje y ense\u00f1anza, por lo cual tomar la clase Spanish 312W me ha otorgado un conocimiento en mi futura \u00e1rea profesional que es el desenvolvimiento, cultura y escritura. Espero que as\u00ed como a m\u00ed, les encante esta clase si la desean tomar alg\u00fan d\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Good afternoon, everyone! My name is Silvia Martinez-Piche. I am 22 years old, and I am originally from El Salvador, Central America. I am studying Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Aerospace Engineering. This is my fifth year at university. Studying engineering has not been easy; it requires a lot of effort, dedication, performance, and not giving up so easily because during these five years I have been taught that if this is what I want in life, I have to keep fighting until the end. Finishing university with my degree is one of my greatest dreams. It’s exciting to think that this is my last year of college, and it’s incredible how time flies. I have managed to get so far with challenges, sleepless nights, laughter, triumphs, joy, performance, sadness, and other mixed emotions, which makes this my career, which makes me feel proud to be able to complete my profession. For this reason, I describe myself as a person who likes to excel in every challenge that life gives me; my short- or long-term dreams and achieving goals is one of my biggest goals in life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the lessons that my career has taught me during these five years is that you should not set long-term goals because life takes many turns, and in the end we do not know what life has in store for us or where we will be in the next few years, but something I do know for sure is that I am eager for what awaits me in the future. Each class that I have taken during all these last years of my career has helped me to have the knowledge, learning, and teaching, which is why taking the Spanish 312W class has given me knowledge in my future professional area, which is development, culture, and writing.
