Check the URL, make sure there\u2019s no grammatical errors. Look for typos in the website itself, and be wary of websites that ask for personal info when they don\u2019t need it.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Examples:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Fake: \u201cChase-Secure-Login.net\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Domain mimics real bank but has hyphens<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If accessed, might have poor grammar such as \u201cplease to login for your account security\u201d&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Look out for URL\u2019s with HTTP instead of HTTPS<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Asks for SSN for login<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Real: Chase.com&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Simple, legit domain&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Has HTTPS<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No grammatical errors&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Doesn\u2019t ask for SSN on login&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Fake: \u201cAmaz0n-Super-Deals.com\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Uses a number \u201c0\u201d instead of letter \u201co\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Only accepts payment through wire transfers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The contact email on the bottom of the page is \u201camazondeals123@gmail.com \u201c, shouldn\u2019t be a gmail account.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Real: amazon.com&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Simple, real domain&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Secure payment options&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proper customer service contact channels&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Secure HTTPS<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Fake:\u201dFaceb00k-Login-Help.xyz\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Suspicious URL with numbers for the \u201co\u2019s\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Might have pop-ups that say anything from \u201cyour account was compromised\u201d to \u201cyour account will be deleted-Login now\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Requests credit card to \u201cverify identify\u201d&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Might show a outdated facebook logo&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Real: facebook.com&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Simple, official Domain name<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No pop-ups&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Current brand logo&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Don&#8217;t ask for payment info.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Can you spot three fake websites and compare the three fake websites to three real websites, plus showcase what makes the fake websites fake?
