In her description of the cybersecurity analyst job, she mentions that they are the first line of defense that responds to certain instances. However, since some of those jobs would be for a more advanced individual, you would probably start off as a helpdesk technician of sorts until you gain experience. She also mentions that some of the higher paying jobs that are available when you start would more than likely be on the night shift. One of the biggest social themes I noticed was that a lot of cybersecurity entry level positions pay well in the current day and age because it’s still a new field and the competition for it is very low due to what is required of the average person. This provides a large window of opportunity for people entering the field, but I believe that the technology will advance faster than the general public will learn it. The cybersecurity field will always have availability as long as there continuous advancements in technology.
