Week 2 Journal Entry:

Google defines science as, “the systematic study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through observation, experimentation, and the testing of theories against the evidence obtained”, Using this definition it is clear see that the principles of science relate to cybersecurity in the way that most cyber incidents are a result of human behavior. There aren’t computers committing crimes in cyberspace it is always humans who are carrying out malicious acts. Humans created cyberspace as a result of advances in technology and with cyberspace this created a whole new realm of great possibilities for the world. Unfortunately at the same time, this created a whole new realm of malicious possibilities as well. These outcomes are a result of relativism and determinism which are two concepts that everything is related (relativism) and that everything is an outcome of previous events.
