Week 1 Journal Entry:

Review the NICE Workforce Framework. Are there certain areas that you would want to focus your career on? Explain which areas would appeal the most to you and which would appeal the least.

The most desirable areas of the NICE Workforce Framework for me personally would be (in no particular order) Oversee and Govern, Protect and Defend, and Securely Provision. Early on in my career, I think it would be more likely for me to be in the Protect and Defend as well as the Securely Provision category before making my way into Oversee and Govern hopefully. Incident response, vulnerability assessment, and risk management are the most appealing to me for an early career type of job while management and leadership would be ideal later on in my career. While the others appeal to me the least all the same, I do not think they are bad options. I have confidence that I could get work done in those fields although I am not sure if I may get burnt out or tired of those kinds of work.
