Journal Entry 10:

Social cybersecurity more well known as social engineering, is becoming more prevalent in the stage of war in the world. Information is king in today’s society, not only including war. The information helps strengthen narratives, allows entities to come up with educated plans, and can be detrimental to the other side if they don’t know the information is out. The world is shifting from physical fighting to fighting with information, a digital over a physical battlefield. The main idea of the article is that information is what sets up people and country support for nations, and can also set up disapproval of other countries. This is so important in terms of war because what is second in importance to information is allies. Countries that aren’t very large can use information to get other countries to aid and support them. Better connections lead to stronger countries and if a country is making enemies with everyone, they will have a hard time winning a war. The moral of the story in my opinion is that making friends and networking is what sets up nations to not lose wars.
