There are a few areas of the nice workforce framework that interest me. I am particularly drawn to the analysis aspect. I would like to have a role in exploitation analysis or threat analysis. Exploitation analysis interest me because you are assessing your own vulnerabilities and securing those before an adversaries uses it to cause damage or data breaches. This is a proactive method of analyzing, assessing threats and securing a network before realizing after it’s too late. This area would require a number of skills such as organization. You will need to be able to take fragmented data and organize in order to see trends. Once the data is organized you can begin analyzing what exactly is going on.  This field will also require critical thinking as each problem might require a unique solution. I believe that the problem-solving aspect is what draws me to this field. Another area that I would like to focus on is threat analysis. Threat analysis interest me because it uses risk management to assess possible threats to the network. This area would require you to find threats and implement processes to eliminate them from the environment. Threat analysis requires a security mindset in order to get ahead of the problem. The area that interests me the least would be investigating. I can see the necessity of the area but collecting information on another person’s cyber activities does not interest me as much as preventing crimes from occurring.
