This assignment focused on Heuristics, which in simple terms is a quick method of making decisions and problem solving. We focused on four different kinds…
1. representative: decisions made based on a small amount of information, like reading 1/100 reviews on Amazon.
2. availability: what you remember vs the other details that may have an effect on the decision ( example: lottery tickets).
3. Anchoring & adjustment: starting at one point and negotiating up or down, but not necessarily accounting for true value ( example: buying a house).
4. status quo: people don’t change

This image represents the availability heuristic. The people judging the swimmers for swimming in the ocean because it is dangerous, are eating heart stopping food and in-taking carcinogenic past times.
