How the Course Objectives help:
- Understanding how attitudes are formed and changed can be extremely useful in the “real world” because people often make snap judgements or form opinions about others with background information.
- Prejudice and discrimination effect the daily lives of several individuals due to the side effects that come along with it. Understanding what they are, where they came from, and how to work around them could be useful information to pass onto clients that are dealing with the effects of it.
- The formation of relationships is an issue that many people deal with, including myself. How to make friends, maintain a friendship, and create longevity is not always “ instinct”, and the behavior is learned. This topic could assist in forming relationships with clients and teaching clients to resolve relational- conflict in their own lives.

I chose this image because it represents the way schemas remain unchanged even when contradictory information exists. We just try to make it work no matter what.
