Top Artifact from Modules 7-11

This artifact stood out the most to me because it was focused around being a good observer. For this artifact I discussed how placing this bottle in the middle of the floor in a busy area rather than on a table effected people and how they reacted. It was eye opening to be able to see something like this happen in real time, instead of reading it somewhere or hearing about it. I was able to cause a disturbance in the social norm, and because I learn the best from hands on and being active in the process I was really able to understand the principle of the assignment.
I chose this specific visual image because it allows you to see the social norm I disturbed and allows you to make some assumptions about the predicted reactions. People have two options, to make it a big deal or a small deal. More people made it a small deal, then a big deal which is reasonable, but it is still intriguing to be able to see all of these very different small deals made out of the same situation.

This assignment to archive stood out the most to me because it was very eye opening. A lot of times I can get caught up in feeling really alone and misunderstood, but after completing the happiness scale I learned I scored on the lower side of an average college student. Which means that there are other people out there who feel the same as me. It also made me take a step back and ask myself what contributes to my true happiness rather than my short term happiness, and how can I work towards a healthier lifestyle to support those contributions. My visual image are my answers to the four questions on the scale, and I think it’s important to include those as a visual representation as to why this assignment stood out so much to me.
